Oil Information Technology Journal

Neil McNaughton was recognized for his publication and its contribution to the advancement and understanding of petroleum data management at the 10th Intermational Conference on Petroleum Integration, eCommerce, and Data Management.  The Oil Information Technology Journal started in 1996, about the same time as the PNEC Data Management Conferences.  This journal and the writings of its editor, Neil McNaughton is a must read for anyone wanting to understand the upstream side of petroleum data management and its happenings and developments.  The journel provides cutting-edge information and developments across the whole spectrum of data and information management.  The Journal's management is located in France, contributing to its international scope,

This London based journal is another great read, originally focusing on the developments with the eField technologies from smart wells, to other eField challenges facing the petroleum industry.  It has expanded to cover more mainstream issues of data and information management and emerging technology and issues and developments that will be impacting both the eField and data/information management in the petroleum industry.  Karl Jeffereys and his crew do a fantastic job with very high content!
