David Paganie is Chief Editor of Offshore magazine and Conferences Director of PennWell’s Offshore Group. Paganie oversees the Offshore portfolio of print and digital editorial content and global oil and gas conferences. He also writes the monthly Comment column in Offshore.
Paganie has 20 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, and previously served as Editor of Offshore Field Development International at ODS-Petrodata, and as an Analyst at Baker Energy. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialty in finance from Ohio University.
Chris manages the team responsible for EP Energy’s applications in the land, G&G, forecast, reservoir, operations, revenue accounting and other various areas. He is also responsible for the GIS, business intelligence and analytics team.
He was the IT lead on EPE’s Oilfield of the Future project focused on driving step change in the value of assets through process improvement, management systems implementation, development of personnel, and cost efficient use of technology and data systems.
Chris has worked for EP Energy for 10 years. Prior to this role, Chris held several positions at El Paso Corporation and EP Energy all focused primarily on the operational side of the upstream E&P business. He previously worked at United Space Alliance/NASA focused on Space Shuttle ascent/descent flight design simulations.
Chris has a BS in Computer Science from Baylor University.
Leveille began his career with Conoco in 1984. During the first decade of his career, Leveille held various exploration, development and operations geology assignments, working both in the United States and northwest Europe. Beginning in 1995, Leveille has held leadership positions in technology, exploration, operations, portfolio management, asset management, project management, and commercial organizations.
Leveille is a member of the Executive Committee of the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC), serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Houston’s College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and has led several United Way fund raising campaigns.
Sushma Bhan is the Global Functional Lead of Technical Data for Well, Reservoir and Facility Management in Shell Global Solutions Inc. In her current role, she leads global initiatives to manage data integration, data quality and technical data management (TDM) standards for upstream assets to enable additional production. She is actively leading TDM experts and professional global network, where she motivates, coaches and guides 200 people in virtual teams from 21 countries that have a profound effect on global trusted data journey – with 10-40% cost savings, efficiency gains and bottom-line impact of millions of USD. In 2017, she took on Program Lead role for Engineering & Smart focusing on surface data.
Sushma’s career at Shell has spanned three decades, where her wealth of knowledge of technical geosciences/engineering data, real time applications, databases, and IT has enabled her to have global roles.
She has an MS from University of Delhi and an MBA degree from University of Houston. Sushma is active in Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and member of SPE’s M&I Advisory Committee and Chairperson for SPE’s Digital Energy Technical Section (DETS) Membership Committee.
