It is admitted that Geoscientists spent about 20% to 30% of their time looking for data or trying to get an exhaustive view of what is available. This represents a huge potential of gains: time saving, de-risking studies with more exhaustive view or using all past results on the area of interest. TOTAL started 5 years ago the Eureka platform. A web search portal that consolidate in one single place an exhaustive view with fast access to data available in multiple databases. With-in 2018 and 2019, to absorb the amount of data growing and be scalable for future, Eureka has been revamped. Following Agile methods, user centric and UX design concepts, the project has been conducted in full collaboration of data management teams, IS teams and geoscience community. It aims at delivering essential business needs in a fast and simple way, combining search, map, tables and filters, preview and download. It was also an opportuning to take advantage of latest technology updates in terms of data integration and consolidation, spatial data handling, filtering, data visualization and responsive design. It now also introduces the data shopping concepts, as the first steps to prepare for study data packages or for physical items digitalization ordering via backend workflows. Solution is fully operational and widely adopted. Eureka is now the main gate for Total worldwide geoscience community to retrieve any data at various scale and with a simple and fast vision of what is available. Unified preview and download features are available for reports, logs, core images, thin sections, seismic or general information. Its coverage is continuously increasing to shorten user’s searches and to provide easy access to more and more data.
