Gustavo Londono is a Senior Geophysicist with 30+ years of combined experience in Exploration seismic data acquisition and processing. As a member of the Geophysics Department of ECOPETROL´s Exploration Vice-Presidency, he has been assigned the task of leading the Digital Transformation Process that seeks to implement a Cloud-based Digital Workspace that brings new Analytics and AI tools to the work flows that is used by our petro-technical staff. Previous projects worked on during his career include Volcano and Earthquake Seismic Instrumentation, Seismic Data Acquisition, Seismic Data Processing, VSP Data Acquisition, and Gravity and Magnetics Data Acquisition.

As a field geophysicist for one of the biggest Oil Field Services Providers, he was directly involved in several Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing jobs, in different parts of the world, including the North Slope (Alaska), the Mackenzie Delta and Alberta foothills and plains (Canada), Panuco River basin (Mexico), Foothills and Llanos basin (Colombia), Ucayali jungle basin (Peru) and the desert in the Saudi Arabian peninsula.

Gustavo spent four years as a seismic processor, at Arcis (now TGS), in charge of challenging and structurally complex data from Western Canada and Llanos Foothills, Colombia.
